SawmTime requires access to your device’s location (GPS) to accurately calculate prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) and related events (Sunrise, Iftar, Sahri) based on your geographic position.

  • Location data is processed locally on your device or used to fetch prayer times from reliable APIs.
  • We do not store your location history on our servers.

B. Personal Information (Account & Sync)
If you choose to use the “Sign in with Google” feature:

  • We collect your Google name, email address, and profile picture provided by Google.
  • We use this information to create your account and synchronize your prayer history and Tasbih counts across devices.
  • Your data (prayer completions and counts) is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Firestore.

C. Local Storage
We use local storage (SharedPreferences) on your device to save your preferences, settings, and temporary habit data.

    We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the functionality of the SawmTime app.

  • Google Play Services (for app functionality)
  • Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (for account management and data sync)
  • Google Sign-In (for authentication)
